Catch up with all the news on our league teams and representatives in County and National events during 2013.
In the County Foursomes played at Bedlingtonshire and Newbiggin over the weekend 13th &14th April, Shaun Philipson and James Curry secured victories over Percy Wood, Seahouses, Alnmouth Village and Blyth to reach the final. The final played at Heworth on 20th April against Hexham they lost at the first extra hole when Matty Lamb holed a massive putt from off the green. Disappointing especially as they had been 3 up after 11 holes. The picture on the left shows Shaun and James at Heworth

Success for Shuan Philipson (143), Kyle Humphrey (144) and James Curry (145) all made it to the final 36 holes to be played on Monday 27th May. Current leader after 36 holes is Simon Lee (138). Two players who did not make the cut were Phil Bradley (165) and Denny Ward (N/R)
