Members Survey
The committee are keen to receive feedback from members on selected issues to help them plan for the future.  You are invited to complete a questionnaire and return it to the club.  To view the questionnaire click here.  You can download a copy and return it electronically or pick up a hard copy from the club on Tuesday 14th May. 

 

Hole In One
On Thursday 9th May 2013 playing in the Pro-Am at Prudhoe, John McKillup, playing with John Perry, Alan Dunn and Mark Sanderson (Bedlingtonshire asst. pro) secured his first "ace" at the par3 176 yard 13th hole. Two bottles of whisky were placed on the bar on his return to the clubhouse.  Well done John! 

 

 

 

Junior Captain Drive-in
A little later than planned Oliver Quinn got the junior season up and running on Saturday 4th May 2013.  Club Captain (John McKillup), Vets Captain (Michael Robson) and JLO (Paul Potts) joined the juniors as they prepared for the big day (pictured below).

Junior Coaching
The popular junior coaching sessions are planned to start on Saturday 1st June.  There will be about 8 weekly sessions with about 8 in each group.  They will start at about 10.00 a.m. and the cost will only be £20 for all the sessions.  To book a place contact John Crawford - Tel 01661832466 ext 23.  If demand requires there will be an additional hourly session starting at about 11.15 a.m.

Special Golf & Fun Day
One of longest serving and most valued members Phil Brookbanks is organising a Golf & Fun Day on Saturday 22nd June 2013.  The day is in support of Cancer Research a charity very close to Phil's heart.  For  details about events on the day please click here.  If you would like to know more about Cancer Research click here. The Masters "Grand Raffle" Result 
The winner of the Prudhoe Vest was D France who drew A Scott.  David pictured on the left wearing his vest before he takes on the course Full result click here. Thanks to all who took part.  

New Tee Box Markers
The new tee signs are now all installed and there is still the opportunity to sponsor a hole.  The picture below shows the tee box marker at the 18th hole.  If you are interested in sponsoring a tee box and would like more information click here.

Mickley Garage Summer Open Challenge 2013
Six events have been arranged for the summer season. The qualifying games in the series start is on Monday 1st April - click here for further details on the OPENS staged at Prudhoe during 2013.

Quiz
The Quiz held on Saturday 11th May was won by Invincibles. The previous champions Wagtail Corner were not able to defend their title.
