Professional - John Crawford


John or "Crawfy" has he is known to everyone has been a golf professional for over 28 years. He started his career at Parklands moved to Ponteland and arrived at Prudhoe in 1988.  In 2009 he was appointed Golf Manager (looking after all the club's secretarial duties and in 2012 the role as Competitions Secretary) and combined his new jobs with that of professional.

During 2102 Denny Ward joined the team as assistant professional

Lessons / Tuition
As a very experienced professional John is respected by golfers at all levels.  He offers one to one or group lessons. You can have your swing captured on video camera and played back to highlight your strengths and weaknesses.   Special rates are always available when you book a block of lessons.

The Golf Shop

The shop maybe small but is stocked with clubs, bags, shoes, balls, gloves, trolley's, clothing and a wide range of accessories.  You can choose from major brands which are sourced from the top northeast retailer ZFL Golf.  There is a practice area where you try before you buy. When you purchase a new set of spikes we will remove your old ones.

ZFL Golf offer a free Custom Fit Service and you can book with them direct or if you wish we can make the booking for you.   


To coincide with the start of the 2012 season we have introduced a Try Before You Buy Service and  Special Sales Events are to be run throughout the year.
