Hole In One

Playing in the mixed doubles at Prudhoe on 14th August Les Wilson had a hole in one at the 15th. Well done Les.

Northumberland County Captain

Congratulations to Kevin Robson who will take on the role as as County Captain in January 2011. His appointment is a well deserved acknowledgement of his many years as a valued member of the county team. We are sure he will serve the County well.

Coors Winter Open Challenge 2010/2011

Entertainment 2010

The entertainment programme for 2010 will include special menu events, live acts and quiz / bingo nights. More details are shown below.

Quiz and Bingo

Bingo is held most Saturday's with quiz night's to be staged on Saturday's as follows - 27th March, 17th April, 29th May, 19th June, 10th July, 21st August, 11th September, 23rd October, 20th November and 20th December. The winners of the quiz held in August were MG's.

Live Acts

Top local band 3 to midnight are playing on Friday 6th August and Garry Walton (singer) is booked for Saturday 18th September A live act is planned for Saturday 30th October (Presentation Evening) and top local band 3 to midnight are booked for Wednesday 31st December.

Junior Coaching Academy

The 2010 programme started in May 2010 under the guidance of our professional John Crawford. Sessions are staged every Saturday morning into groups of about 8 golfers. If you would like to see what is included in the programme please click here. Enquiries to John Crawford - Tel 01661 832466.

Captain's Charities for 2010

Malcolm Ward our 2010 Captain has nominated the Bobby Robson Foundation as his charity. To help raise money Malcolm has called upon the help of two bunkers at the 15th hole . Members who land in the bunkers are asked to donate £1 (at least) to his charity. The collection tin is located in the lounge. If you would like to know more about the charity click here.
